A politician from someplace far away, seeking asylum in a nation that isn’t his own.

Not a friendly politician. Quite a problematic politician. Evil, some would even say. But now here he is, his former power made invisible against this backdrop of sand and shivering heat. 

The most important thing about this situation is that in the place he comes from (as in, the anonymous politician) feces is repurposed for use in pretty much everything. Everything constructed or manufactured is essentially a heavily processed, repurposed turd. Plastic made of shit, alloy made of shit. Perfume made of shit. Food. The politician’s car is also made out of shit. It is a shit car; one may call it a Shit-Mobile. The politician is driving a car which has been poorly cobbled together using pieces of shit stolen from an unwilling populace. Where he comes from, those who refuse to willfully submit their shit suffer serious civil consequences. Prosecution. 

Of course, the politician in question is a known proponent of his nation’s tyrannical turd pilfering. This is why he flees—there has been a successful coup.

Unfortunately, the Shit-Mobile does not take diesel; from here forwards, the politician will have to move on foot, through the desert, towards no destination in particular.
