INJURED?” 2023

At some point during the past century, Feeb City became something of a hotspot for an emerging trend of Private Medical Contractors—I.E unlicensed doctors and nurses who ask no questions.

Thus, the airspace above the city became occupied by the airships of criminals and warlords and drug dealers (anyone liable to being injured in a way that implicates them in some sort of crime) seeking the security of reliable, around the clock healthcare.

Anyone who tries to access Feeb City via Highway 58G puts themselves at risk of getting seriously injured. Highway 58G—which serves as the only legal, direct route into the city itself—has been covertly dominated by Injury Attorney Chris Wrath for decades. Highway 58G is constantly being patrolled by various bands of mercenaries, all of which have been hired by Wrath in an evil bid to get himself more business. Basically, Wrath’s contracted cronies operate under the command to injure travelers as badly as they possibly can while taking their utmost care to make sure that it’s done in such a way where they could be realistically held liable for the ‘accident,’ at which point the victim would ideally seek legal counsel which would lead to them eventually getting sued by an attorney (I.E Injury Attorney Chris Wrath).

The sixty-mile stretch of highway is punctuated by his billboards, which serve as the choke points where the mercenaries set up their various traps (tire spikes, for instance), making it so that when the victim emerges from their vehicle’s smoldering wreckage the first thing they see is the 11 digit phone number of Injury Attorney Chris Wrath under a graphic of a bandaid and big blocky letters that say “INJURED?” which of course the victim is likely pretty injured by this point. Of course, this business tactic is totally unreliable and not very safe at all, with like 30% of the prospective clients ending up totally dead, which makes Wrath extremely unhappy, causing him to sic law enforcement on the irresponsible mercenaries involved (the Feeb City Police Department are pretty much all in Wrath’s pocket, hence his being able to get away with his brazen and depraved little indirect advertising campaign on Highway 58G).

But in successful cases, mercenaries are asked to approach the victim(s) and apologize profusely, explaining how the tire spikes were totally meant for someone else and that they shouldn’t have been so careless and irresponsible, at which point they request that the victim please not pursue legal action with Esteemed Injury Attorney Chris Wrath because they heard from the grapevine he wins his cases pretty much every time!
