Samuel Reems was a revolutionary once; not anymore…

The only revolution left in his life is in the cyclical kind; revolving doors, ceiling fans, hula hoops, his days and weeks repeating themselves in uniformity. Every day at exactly 4PM he sits here by his window enjoying a cigarette and a cup of coffee. It’s not every day that he has something so interesting to look at. What’s happening just outside his window (which overlooks Kint’s historical Capital Square) is a vicious revolt led by one Orfo Braham, a political dissident and prolific Kintesian revolutionary. What him and his people are revolting against is a recently proposed regulation which would, if passed, make it illegal for individuals suffering from pattern baldness to appear in public with patchy or otherwise diminished hair, forcing them to choose between wearing a hat and shaving their head entirely, a law that Braham and his supporters simply cannot abide. As the country which has been proven to host the most politically polarized population, Kint is constantly experiencing one or more officially-recognized revolutions or revolts. The revolt happening in Capital Square (which is recognized by Kinteesian government entities as ‘People For Receding Hair Rights Act’) falls closer to the ‘slight’ end of the spectrum. Despite this, the whole thing is getting quite heated, violent to the point where Samuel Reems—who himself actually suffers from pattern baldness and recently opted to permanently forsake his hair—is having a lot of trouble enjoying his morning cigarette and cup of coffee in peace.
